z-udtool Help
Recommended
- client side javascript enabled for urbandead.com, certain features like
attack and bash buttons will work much slower without it. It is recomended
that you enable it for urbandead.com however you can use non javascript based
methods by clicking the "Disable Javascript" option (see below).
Know Bugs
- Copy buttons only store data from last urbandead page loaded not from the
urbandead page in which you clicked on them.
Original udtool Settings
These are settings carried over from the original udtool extension. Please
see the original udtool page for more information: http://www.sl.ecwhost.com/ud/
- Colorization: Theis colors player names based on a pre-specified
list, use "Tools->UDTool->Modify List" to modify the list
and "Tools->UDTool->Change/Load List" to change where the
list is stored.
- HP Colorization: Colors the hp values next to player names
based on how damaged they are (goes from green to red).
- Color Corpses and Zombies: Colors the names of zombies
and corpses. Slow.
- Zombie Tracker: Inserts a map in the bottom left hand corner
of the page with information from Okram's zombie tracker. In general this
is slow to load and the information isn't up to date.
- Inventory Combiner: Re-arrangesthe inventory to make it
easier to use, combines items togother for example. Disable if you are using
another extension for this as conflicts may happen (=firefox crashes).
- Safe Mode: Uses an older and slower method for name colorization.
General z-udtool Settings:
- General Settings:How many people (defaul 10) should be
in a building before player lists are created (active, inactive, etc.). This
needs to be greater than the sum of the active and inactive list sizes.
- Active List: This controls options about the active player
list, this list is simply the bottom [number of players in list] players from
the normal player list. These are the most recent players to have performed
an action, however how recently is unknown.
- Number of Players in List: How many players should
be in this list
- List Order: Should the list be ordered from most recently
active to least recently active, or vice-versa.

- Inactive List: This controls options about the inactive
player list, this list is simply the top [number of players in list] players
from the normal player list. These are the least recent players to have performed
an action, however how recently is unknown.
- Number of Players in List: How many players should
be in this list
- List Order: Should the list be ordered from most recently
active to least recently active, or vice-versa.

- Main List: This controls options about the main player
list, which is the list of every player not on another list.
- List Order: Should the list be ordered from most recently
active to least recently active, or vice-versa.

- Disable Javascript: This uses a non-client side javascript
system for things. It is much, much slower than using javascript. IT is highly
recommended that you simply enable javascript for urbandead.com.

Human/Zombie Specific z-udtool Settings:
These settings are applied only to zombie/human characters depending on the
tab, if it's not listed for one type of character then it is disabled.

- Active List: Should the active list be shown for human/zombie
characters.
- Inactive List: Should the inactive list be shown for human/zombie
characters.
- Main List: Should the inactive list be shown for human/zombie
characters.
- Show Copy Buttons: Adds buttons to the bottom of the page
that copy current player list to the clipboard, in either plain text or zombies.desensitised.net
forum format.
These will copy the information from the last urbandead.com page loaded in
the current firefox window not what is on the button's page.

- Show Generator/Barricade Bash Buttons: Adds buttons to
attack the barricades and generator. This uses client side javascript.
To enable this for human characters type about:config in the address bar,
and change extensions.udtool.bashButtonsHuman to true. Disable by setting
this to false.

- Show Attack Buttons: Adds buttons next to each player that
allow for quick bite or hand attacks. The T and H can be changed to any characters
or strings. This uses client side javascript..
To enable this for human characters type about:config in the address bar,
and change extensions.udtool.attackButtonHuman to true. Disable by setting
this to false.
